I was looking for a business I can operate on my own without having to employ anyone, and something that I can run and manage on my own; when my daughter happened to hear that the coffee van she was buying coffee from was for sale. She took Donna's details and rang me and told me that she had found the right business for me. I rang up Donna and next thing I know I have applied to have Cafe2U as a franchisee and the process began.

I was a stay at home mother for a long time, and when my daughters grew up I decided to study something and ended up doing a Beauty Therapy course. I set up my own beauty salon and worked on appointments only around my daughters' timetable and needs. \while I was in transition I worked as a Nursing Assistant, and then Cafe2U came along.

I am looking forward to meeting all sorts of people, and being able to bring them good quality coffee to help make their day. I like being of service to others.

In the past I have always been very active in the Multicultural community of Canberra. Now I would like to get myself more involved in women's issues and children. I hope to be able to help out groups and organisations in helping diadvantaged, marginalised women and children.
