Cafe2U has very strong branding, standards and excellent products; this gives us confidence when heading out each day to our customers. We love the feedback from our customers when they get their daily caffeine fix.

I worked in sales in the Wine Industry for 12 years. The two things I’ve always been passionate about are wine and coffee, so after investigating many different options BRW highlighted the success of this up and coming Franchise. After being ‘on the road’ in sales for so long I still wanted flexibility and not to be tied down in a retail ‘shop’. This business is ideal being mobile and has enabled me to provide well needed coffees from canoe events on the banks of the Lodden River to remote areas at the Fosterville Mine Site.

There’s many moments, especially catching up with customers, each day and knowing just how they like their cuppa! But a highlight early on in the business was when Paul from the Bendigo Mine gave us a plug on radio for the ‘business you couldn’t live without’, so that was a thrill… my wife and young kids were in the car when they heard it … it made our day!

We sponsor sporting clubs both junior and seniors, from Little Athletics, to Strathfieldsaye Storm, Auskick and junior Soccer, we love seeing the familiar faces each week and enjoy the sporting culture. The sponsorship helps purchase trophies and equipment for the clubs. Having a young family we love being involved in fundraising events, as the kids come along and get involved in the day/cause- School Fetes, Rich River Relay for Life, Sleep out for a Cause and we’ve raised money for the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal. Bendigo and the greater region have a real community spirit and we thoroughly enjoy providing coffees for the many community events.
