What do you love about being on the Cafe2U team?

I enjoy seeing my customers each day and making their day by delivering them a fantastic coffee. Even if they are having a bad day, they walk away with a smile on their face and that’s always great to see.

What did you do before Cafe2U?

I worked as a chef for 20 years, I had long service leave and thought there must be something better than working split shifts and weekends.......then came along Cafe2u and I have never looked back since.

What's your favourite Cafe2U moment?

Being awarded the WA & National Franchisee of the Year 2010 award in recognition of having shown an outstanding performance in all aspects of the coffee franchise system.

When my customers started to become my friends - I remember the first time a customer came out of their office when I pulled up saying "mate, I'm so glad you're here! I've got some great news to tell you..I"

What's your favourite Cafe2U drink?

Short Macchiato – Thanks to Jarrod (Franchise Development Manager), you can’t beat that coffee hit.

What do you do to be involved in your local community?

We are actively involved in supporting KTM Junior Offroad Events in WA which involves following the the team around WA for the winter racing season - usually its only one weekend per month.

At the end of the race season we donate 10% of the profits back to the club.

It is great to see kids of all ages getting involved in the riding and watching them grow throughout the season, also building relationships with the parents during the season.

The event organisers are also grateful for the time we spend travelling around WA and at every opportunity promote us, this has led us to attending other motocross events which are not associated with the club.

Cafe2U Kenwick Maddington serviced the MCC Stan Gurney (VC) Anzac Day bike race. It was a good morning and we discovered that even a bike water bottle holder can hold a Cafe2U Cup!

Moto X

What a lovely way to end of another superb Moto X event with the team at Offroad Riding Club of WA!

Purple Bra Day

This year's Purple Bra Day was another great success for Cafe2U Kenwick-Maddington and we would therefore like to extend a big thank you to all our customers and your kind donations. Without your support, we would not have achieved this great effort.

Cafe2U Kenwick-Maddington raised a total of $1,500.60 which will go toward Breast Cancer Care WA.

While there is some serious around the topic and the cause, we have so much fun getting involved and proudly wearing our purple gear!
