What do you love about being on the Cafe2U team?	Just enjoying what I do for a living. It is a great lifestyle and I can work as hard or as little as I choose. Meeting lots of people and having a laugh with them.
What did you do before Cafe2U?	I worked for a food distribution company. I was there for about 15 years and ready for a change.
What's your favourite Cafe2U moment?	Getting in the van and starting my first week. It was very exciting! I enjoyed building up a good customer base. I have met a lot of great people.
What's your favourite Cafe2U drink?	I can't choose. It's a toss up between a macchiato and hazlenut latte.
What do you do to be involved in your local community?	I have provided my service to the local soccer club. I have done a few events for local schools as well.

Franchisee of the Year Award 2011
 
The world’s biggest mobile coffee franchise, Australian-born Cafe2U, has announced South Australia’s Regency Park local Rob Clark, as the winner of the 2011 Cafe2U National Franchisee of the Year Award.

This was annouced at the Cafe2U National Leadership Conference which was held in Auckland, New Zealand from the 26th - 29th of January.

The honour was given to Rob Clark who was among over 100 delegates attending Cafe2U’s National Leadership Conference.
 
The win comes as a welcome delight for Clark, who has won the Cafe2U State Award for South Australia for the past three years. He opened the first Cafe2U franchise in South Australia in 2008 with the specific desire to work for himself, having spent his previous career years in logistics as a pallet and stock controller.
 
“It’s an unbelievable feeling, I’m absolutely speechless with the win. We have a great group of Franchisees working together in South Australia, helping each other out. I love the team and I am absolutely thrilled to be named the Cafe2U National Franchisee of the Year,” said Clark.

“The Franchisee of the Year Award Program recognises  those Franchisees who have been both active within our community and have consistently  delivered a high quality in both product and service to their customers. To achieve the distinction of being awarded the National Franchisee of the Year is recognition of Rob’s high standards of excellence,” Cafe2U Managing Director Derek Black said.

“Rob Clark is an excellent member of our Cafe2U team and is a well-deserving recipient of this award.”

Jodie's Belly Billboard

Cafe2U Operators in Adelaide decided to get behind the refit of the Neo Natal Unit at the Flinders Medical Centre by bidding and winning the rights to appear on Jodie's Belly Billboard for a week. This fundraising event was hosted on Mix 102.3 FM.

Cafe2U was also advertised on air for the week and on top of the sponsorship amount, Cafe2U Operators collected extra funds which resulted in a total of $1800 being raised.

 

July 2011

A new venture for Cafe2U Regency Park is providing services to the North Adelaide Football Club for their home games this year. Cafe2U Regency Park has received great feedback from supporters who have enjoyed a hot beverage whilst watching the game. They love the blend of our coffee.
