What do you love about being on the Cafe2U team?	The best part about being a part of the Cafe2U team is turning up to work sites and honking the horn with happy customers eager to see me.
What did you do before Cafe2U?	I just finished school and had been working at KFC and the opportunity came up to run a Cafe2U van as a team with my Dad, John who has the Glenelg area.
What's your favourite Cafe2U moment?	Working at the Clipsal 500 last year, making coffees and turning around to see about 20 people in the line and knowing that they are going to enjoy my coffee.
What's your favourite Cafe2U drink?	I enjoy all of the beverages that are on the Cafe2U menu, I enjoy mixing up different types of frappes to make new flavours.
What do you do to be involved in your local community?	Local netball, Dragon Boating and various School Sports Days.

Asia Pacific Bowls Championship 2011

Cafe2U Glenelg and Salisbury-Cavan were appointed exclusive, external caterers for this event. Countries from the Asia Pacific region competed in all forms of bowls. The competition was held at Lockleys and Holdfast Bay Bowling Clubs over a 2-week period. We were more than happy to provide complimentary coffees for the Aussie side!!!

Motor Cycle Riders Toy Run

The annual Motor Cycle Riders Toy Run was held with over 10,000 riders ranging from Harley's to Scooters. The ride started at Victoria Park Racecourse and finished at Callington Oval. The goal of the event is to collect toys for the underprivileged kids of Adelaide.

Cafe2U South Australia - Christmas Dinner

On the 3rd of December, the Cafe2U team in South Australia got together for a Christmas dinner. The dinner took place at Kefi Greek Restaurant and it turned out to be a great night had by all.

Gear Up Girls Ride

Bicycle SA held its annual Gear Up Girls Bike Ride Challenge in perfect conditions in November. The ride is specifically for women and is focused on promoting riding to women of all ages and abilities.  Courses varied in distance culminating in a picnic style event in Elder Park.

Touch Wine 2011

Touch Wine is an annual charity event and offers the public a day of wine tasting in the city parklands, with plenty of food, sport  and family fun with the main feature being a touch tournament between 48 winery teams and an exhibition match by SA Touch State League teams. The event took place on Saturday the 13th of November 2011 and profits raised go to the Hutt Street Centre, a frontline agency for homeless and vulnerable people. Money raised helps Hutt Street Centre meet the most basic of human needs for people who are homeless. Cafe2U Salisbury-Cavan was present at the event, serving great coffees to all participants.

Annual Ride to Work Day

Across Australia the Annual Ride to Work Day is held. Cafe2U was on hand in Victoria Square to compliment a breakfast provided by Bicycle SA.

Jodie's Belly Billboard

Cafe2U Operators in Adelaide decided to get behind the refit of the Neo Natal Unit at the Flinders Medical Centre by bidding and winning the rights to appear on Jodie's Belly Billboard for a week. This fundraising event was hosted on Mix 102.3 FM.

Cafe2U was also advertised on air for the week and on top of the sponsorship amount, Cafe2U Operators collected extra funds which resulted in a total of $1800 being raised.

Avanti Cycles Demo Day

Avanti Cycles held a demo ride day in the Adelaide Hills for Cross Country Bike enthusiasts. This event provides many riders the chance to try different bikes in tough conditions. All were in need of a coffee after a ride!!!!!! Josh himself, also managed to find some time to take a demo ride.

Julian Burton Burns Trust Golf Day

Cafe2U was on hand to provide refreshments at the annual Julian Burton Burns Trust Golf Day. Sixty Corporate Teams competed for the perpetual trophy, the day is a major fundraiser for this fantastic charity.





After Julian Burton OAM (pictured below) personally experiences life threatening burn injuries from the Bali Bombings of October 2002, he was inspired to give something back to the people who supported him and the many others who were affected.

Mothers day Classic

On Sunday 8th May, Cafe2U mas a major participant in one of Australia's largest National events - the Mother's Day Classic. Last year, the event raised over $2.1 million for breast cancer research and is expected to raise more again this year for this valuable cause.

As a silver sponsor, Cafe2U will have 33 vans situated across 8 different locations serving our award winning espresso coffee to over 120,000 expected participants and probably as many again in supporters.

Cafe2U Salisbury Cavan along with Melrose Park and Lonsdale were on hand from 6am to make coffees for over 8,000 participants in Elder park, it was a crisp morning which led to a beautiful day.

The Mothers Day Classic is a family day with many supporters on hand as well as participants.

Kona 24hr Mountain Bike Race

The Kona 24 hour Mountain Bike Race is a annual event held in the Adelaide Hills, categories range from solo and team 24/12/6 hour with the aim to complete as many laps of the very undulating 10km circuit on average a lap was approximately 50 minutes.

Cafe2U provided a 24 hour service for those riders and supporters who needed a nice hot coffee in the very early hours of the morning.

An interesting sideline is the BMX Jousting competition which is held around midnight, this is more for the younger foolhearty competitors.

SA Dragon Boat State Titles

March 2011 saw the running of the SA Dragon Boat Titles held at West Lakes over 2 days, the regatta covered a range of team configurations and race lengths, Dragon Boaters are very eager Coffee Consumers!!!!!!!

Holden Car Club Day

On a Sunny Sunday at Glenelg the Annual Holden car Club Day was held. Over 300 various models were on display all in absolute mint condition, models ranging from the FJ period to current.
