Is Cafe2U a member of the International Franchise Association?

Yes. Cafe2U has been a proud member of the International Franchise Association since 2005, and a member of the British Franchise Association (BFA) since 2009.  Membership of these organisations demonstrates our commitment to the franchise industry and the importance we place upon our responsibilities as a franchisor.

How do Cafe2U Franchise Partners operate?

The Cafe2U Franchise System has been specifically designed to be a profitable Monday to Friday business. Cafe2U Franchise Partners provide a core range of cafe style products based around the delivery of a high quality espresso based coffee. The business model ensures that Franchise Partners concentrate on establishing a daily run within commercial business parks and industrial estates, where we visit the same places of work at the same time every day, building habit for the customers, and us.

The average Franchise Partner services between 28 and 32 loyal businesses each day, generating an average of 130 transactions per day. Turnover figures will vary according to hours worked, speed of service, etc, but an average sales turnover within the system is approximately £1650 per week (Mon-Fri only). The top 15 Cafe2U's all turn over more than £2000 per week (Mon-Fri only). Cafe2U Franchise Partners typically start trading at around 7.30am and finish by mid afternoon, however trading hours are totally at the discretion of the Franchise Partner and what they are looking to achieve from their business.

The second part of the business model is the servicing of event work. This predominantly takes place on the weekends and includes servicing local sporting organisations, schools, community events and private functions. Event work can be a lucrative arm to the business, however, the decision to service event work in entirely up to individual Franchise Partners. It would not be unusual to add a further £1000 per month in event sales income.
