What do you love about being on the Cafe2U team? |
I've always wanted to have my own business and knowing that the Cafe2U brand is established and works so well helps. Being part of such a great team who support you and are committed to helping you build your business to succeed is also a great comfort. |

What did you do before Cafe2U? |
Before Cafe2U I was a Business Transformation Consultant with Capgemini. I was looking to do something different. To be honest this isn't all that different, I still drive around talking to customers; the only difference is now I make them a cup of coffee at the same time. |

What's your favourite Cafe2U moment? |
When a customer came and congratulated us on our success as we had just been in the local paper. Another favourite moment is when a customer drove up to us at one of our stops saying she had been driving around the business park looking for us. |

What's your favourite Cafe2U drink? |
It has to be Flat White, especially first thing in the morning to start me on my day. |

What do you do to be involved in your local community? |
We love going to local events such as village fetes and fundraisers and are quickly becoming well known locally. We always make donations to the events we attend. We are also looking into sending our left over food at the end of the day to a local shelter. |

What/who are you most insprired by? |
I'm a driven person always looking to improve on the last task. My family inspire and support me. |
What's New
Tim Shaw launched Cafe2U Reading West in May 2010 in the Theale area and has built a loyal customer base who are very supportive. He named his van Rudolf (Rudy) and you can now see Tim and Rudy in the Newbury area.
Tim has expanded the business and will now be introducing the hard working people of Newbury our great coffee and excellent customer service. You can also see Tim in Thatcham, Aldermaston and Beenham.
Gemma Holman is the newest member of the team joining in January 2011. Gemma has named her van Robin and you will see Gemma and Robin in the Theale area.
Kathie Shaw is the one behind the scenes although she can sometimes be seen on the vans. Kathie tends to the back office side of things to ensure Tim and Gemma have an easy life.

A sweet and innocent Caramel Latte topped with chocolate fudge and caramel sauce
NUTTY SURPRISE
Not a nut in sight with this Hazelnut Latte, topped with fudge, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Finished off with chocolate flakes
CINNAMON SWIRL
Everyday is Christmas with this Latte delight dusted with cinnamon
CHEEKY CHOCOLATE
Rich Hot Chocolate with marshmallows, cream, chocolate sauce all topped with a chocolate flake. Naughty but nice.
Each of our vans serves a selection of warm handmade pies and pasties from the Chunks range as well as handmade sandwiches made daily by our supplier, why not pre order your favourite. We also have a range of mouth watering homemade cakes and muffins.
We have a loyalty card programme in which your 12th coffee is free, we then put your completed loyalty card in a monthly draw and you could win a free coffee for a week, so make sure you complete the card with your name and email so we can inform you if you have won. We also offer a pre pay system for a hot drink.
EVENTS
You can see us at many local events during the year, we attend the Tilehurst Fete and Village Show, as well as the local 10k and cross country runs. We love the event work and seeing some of our regular customers. Our biggest event is the Marvellous Festival at Wellington Park, we enjoy the music whilst we work. For the second year we have attended the RAF Benson Family Day in aid of Help the Heroes and we hope to continue to attend this in the coming years.
